A tourist planning a one-day visit to Venice will need to make an online booking and pay a fee of $10.50.
As reported by Ukrinform with reference to New York Postlocal authorities are introducing new rules from January 2023, providing for the collection of fees for visiting the city.
Tourists who do not intend to stay overnight in Venice must register online and pay a fee ranging from $3 to $10.50 per day. Those who ignore the new rules face fines of more than $300.

More than 80% of visitors to Venice come to the city for only one day, in total – 30-40 thousand people daily.
