Airport officials declared an emergency after the Ryanair plane landed, saying the plane had minor problems with its landing gear. “Dublin Fire Brigade responded to the situation and once the passengers were given the green light, they exited the plane as normal,” the airport representative was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. No one was injured during the landing, although one of the passengers was said to have suffered shock.

Ryanair also confirmed that the plane heading from Liverpool suffered a minor fault, the machine will therefore go to the hangar for a detailed inspection.
One passenger told the Irish Sun that the landing was quite hard and the plane appeared to be out of control. “At one point I thought it was going sideways and then it stopped. It happened quickly, it took us a while to realize what had happened,” he said.
