“I confirm that Vladimír Balaš has asked to be relieved of his post and the presidency proposed Mikuláš Bek for the position of Minister of Education at its meeting,” STAN chairman Vít Rakušan told Práv.
“Until the nomination is approved by the national committee, we will not comment further on the situation,” he added. STAN spokeswoman Sára Beránková told Novinkám that the national committee could meet next week.
According to Novinek information, Beka could be replaced by the current deputy at the Ministry of Justice, Karel Dvořák, several sources confirmed.
