At the same time, Maniovičová lives on blood money. It is subsidized by the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense and one of the men responsible for the dead in Ukraine, Timur Ivanov. They are a married couple, although on paper they are not. In order to avoid sanctions, Russia broke up with Ivan and filed for divorce.

In summer you can find her in St Tropez where she rents a villa for €150k/month, or on a yacht in Naples🧵 pic.twitter.com/ABQRMx1bGB

It did so in August, shortly after the West imposed sanctions on Ivanov. Leaked e-mails prove that the couple continues to be a couple. In addition, Russia still has an illegal Israeli passport and travels around Europe. In Paris, for example, he buys earrings and rings for almost six million crowns.
Between 2013 and 2018, Maniovičová already spent 850 thousand euros (almost 20 million crowns) renting villas on the French Riviera. Another quarter of a million euros (5.8 million crowns) left her yacht charter account. With Ivanov, after St. Tropez drove around the Corniche in a luxurious Rolls-Royce. The car of the same brand has a couple in Moscow as well.
Money from bribes
Maniovičová and Ivanov got married in 2009. According to the words of her previous husband, Russia requires a pocket money of at least one million crowns a month. Ivanov apparently has no problem with that. According to the Anti-Corruption Fund, he is in charge of all construction related to the Ministry of Defense and receives bribes from these contracts, which he sends to his wife for her pleasure.
Maniovičová’s accounts are thus covered, for example, by the Olimpsitistroj corporation, which is the main contractor of the Ministry of Defense and which built a number of new housing units in the destroyed and Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Mariupol for purely propaganda purposes. President Vladimir Putin even appeared at those, if it was really him.

The anti-corruption fund, founded by Russian dissident and currently a prisoner of the Putin regime, Alexei Navalny, is now seeking to have Maniovich placed on the sanctions list, preventing her from traveling at will within the European Union.
Just a month ago, Maniovičová was seen in the French Alpine center of Courchevel enjoying life and wearing a luxurious fur coat with all the expensive fashion accessories. Recently, she even visited her son in London.
This Sunday, a protest even took place in Paris in front of the building that Maniovičová is supposed to own. Several dozen protesters demanded that Russia be included on the sanctions list.
She is not alone
The anti-corruption fund drew attention to Maniovičová, but there are more similar cases of rich Russians who are connected to the main figures of Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Shortly after the start of the war last February, for a change, the stepdaughter of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was spotted living in luxury in London.
