“Today, in some parts of the Czech Republic, it is necessary to expect a high to extraordinary load of pollen,” said the ČHMÚ.
“In the event of a high and extraordinary level of pollen risk, we recommend limiting outdoor time and physical activity, regularly changing the pollen filters in the car and not driving with the windows open, rinsing the nose with a saline solution,” the meteorologists recommend, adding that people allergic to pollen should not smoke, they should avoid mowing the grass. They should also use sunglasses.
The amount of pollen in the air depends on several factors – air temperature, precipitation, wind and solar radiation.
