There are two possibilities, both within the New Green Savings Program (NZÚ), which is administered by the State Environmental Fund.
Boiler replacement
The first option is boiler subsidies intended for replacing an old boiler with solid fuels. It will be possible to submit applications from the summer. However, households can apply for support even if they have replaced outdated equipment earlier, after January 1, 2021.
With the money, it will be possible to purchase either a biomass boiler or a heat pump.
As with previous waves, boiler subsidies will be paid through regions that accept the application electronically.

Finance
Owners or co-owners of real estate, i.e., for example, a family house, an apartment in an apartment building, or permanently occupied cottages, cottages, will be able to apply. Another condition is that the applicant and all members of his household will be receiving an old-age pension or a disability pension for a disability of the 3rd degree on the date of submission of the application. There is also the possibility that the household received housing allowance between 1 January last year and the submission of the application.
The subsidy will reach up to 95 percent of expenses, with a limit of CZK 180,000 for the purchase of a heat pump and CZK 130,000 for a biomass boiler. Among the costs that will be reimbursed are also construction work and services related to construction or modification, or tests and tests of the boiler or pump before commissioning.

Money for insulation
The NZÚ light program is intended for owners or co-owners of family homes or recreational facilities who have been permanently registered in them for longer than September 12 of last year. The applicant and all members of his household must either receive an old-age pension or a 3rd degree disability pension (the exception is minors or adult children who are studying), or have drawn at least some time between September 12 of last year and the application for housing allowance.
Under the existing conditions, they can receive up to 150,000 crowns, for example for insulating the facade, roof or floor or for replacing windows and front doors.
From May, it will also be possible to apply for a subsidy for the purchase of solar water heating systems. Its amount will be another 90,000 crowns. It is possible to withdraw money in advance. Details are on the website www.novazelenausporam.cz.

Changes will come in the fall
You can now apply for subsidies from the New Green Savings program until the end of June. After that, the environmental fund will suspend the acceptance of applications. In September, it will be launched again with minor modifications.
The program will now offer money for replacing old atmospheric gas boilers with heat pumps. The process from submitting an application to paying out a subsidy will be simplified for applicants. For example, the obligation to submit invoices and, in most cases, also project documentation will be removed. This will remain only for new construction.
The novelty for new buildings will be that the support will be targeted only at energy-passive houses, not even low-energy ones as now.
Subsidies for apartment buildings will favor low-income households. There will be a different percentage of support if they occupy one apartment in the house, and another if they occupy six apartments.
It will also include a program for young families to renovate unused real estate. In addition, the Ministry will also offer low-interest loans and the option of financing projects in the form of advances.
