People in the Czech Republic commemorate May 1 – Labor Day. Gatherings and demonstrations of political parties, parades and other events take place in Prague and other cities. Supporters of the non-parliamentary KSČM gathered in Prague on Strělecký island, anarchists are also preparing to have a picnic there, former politician Jiří Paroubek also announced the event on the island.
