Leading figures from the film and gaming world will once again sit on the Anifilm juries.
British director John Stevenson, nominated for an Oscar for the film Kung Fu Panda, or Sébastien Sperer, dramaturg of the most important animated film festival in the world, that of Annecy, will decide who will win the Animorph for the best feature film for children or an adult audience.

The jury for short and student films consists of the Czech director and winner of last year’s Animorpha for the best Czech series (Jezevec Chrujda) David Súkup, the award-winning Polish director Marta Pajek, and the trio is completed by the renowned animator Kim Keukeleire, who has played a significant role in the success of films such as Slepičí úlet, Fantastický pan Lišák, Frankenweenie, My Zucchini Life or Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio.

Festivals
The theme of Anifilm’s non-competitive program will be Japan. Viewers can expect a comprehensive program that aims to present various forms of Japanese animation. There will also be works by Kodži Yamamura, Mirai Mizue and Sarina Nihei, festival guests and judges.
In five areas of short films, we travel through independent Japanese short films from the 1930s to the present day.
