The Czech police still have Dobeš and Plášková among the wanted persons. They lived in the Philippines, where they applied for religious asylum. According to the latest available decisions in the criminal line of the cases, they are in Philippine extradition custody.
Courts in the Czech Republic first sentenced the couple with a final verdict for one proven rape. Later, the judiciary dealt with even more cases, but the imposed sentence did not change, although six more proven rapes were added to the verdict. The constitutional judges now dealt mainly with the second, subsequent part of the process. They found no violation of fundamental rights.
For example, Dobeš and Plášková stated in their complaints that the conditions for conducting criminal proceedings against them as fugitives had not been met. They said they did not want to avoid criminal proceedings. They cannot go to the Czech Republic because their freedom is restricted in the Philippines.

“The general courts, even in the contested decisions now under review, convincingly concluded that the complainants continue to reside abroad with the intention of not submitting to the jurisdiction of the Czech Republic,” responded the ÚS. He did not agree with the objections, which related to the evidence and the further procedure of the Czech courts.
Unhooking to happiness
According to the final verdict, Dobeš so-called unhooked women at various seminars. He claimed that all their problems were caused by the hooks left in them by their former sexual partners. Dobeš allegedly loosened these hooks during sexual intercourse with women. According to the verdict, Plášková made them defenseless and Dobeš performed intercourse on them. Some women then developed post-traumatic stress disorder.
The girls, usually tall blue-eyed blondes aged around 20, having problems in partner relationships, were chosen by the defendant under false pretenses without stating and with deliberate concealment of basic information about how “unhooking” takes place, i.e. that it involves sexual intercourse with the defendant. Breathing exercises led to hyperventilation in women. In combination with a lack of sleep, food, drink, general fatigue, stress or fear of the unknown, the victims partially lost consciousness.
They were practically unable to control their bodies and make decisions about their actions. In this state, Dobeš approached them, did not ascertain their consent to intercourse, and performed sexual intercourse on them without their consent. Some of the women, as it turned out in the courts, resisted intercourse with movements or words.
Dobeš and Plášková were arrested in 2015 by members of the Philippine immigration police in the city of Dapa on the island of Siargao.
