The police patrol in Rokytnica nad Jizerou was convinced that owls are not what they seem to be, as the saying from the famous American series Twin Peaks sounds, on Tuesday around two hours after midnight, when a Seat Leon car drove through the intersection.
“The police decided to check the driver and caught up with him in Jablonec nad Jizerou. They assumed he would be some kind of troublemaker. But after stopping the seat, they discovered that the vehicle was being driven by a mother who was taking a crying three-month-old girl with acute health problems to the emergency room in Jilemnica,” police spokeswoman Ivana Baláková informed about the case.

According to Baláková, the police officers mainly wanted to make sure that there was no troublemaker driving on the road at that hour, for example on the way from a binge, from where he would have driven under the influence of addictive substances.
According to Baláková, the driver delivered a letter to the regional police headquarters of the Liberec region on Tuesday with an emotional thank you for the help in an emergency situation.
