Former vice-chairman of the Football Association of the Czech Republic, Roman Berbr, who is one of the 21 defendants, did not miss the trial. “The club was completely destroyed and executed,” Rösler declared.
He was referring to the disciplinary proceedings, when the ethics commission of the football association excluded Vyšehrad from the third league in 2021 and reassigned it to the Prague league.
“The punishment is draconian. It meant the destruction of the A team as well as massive damage to the club. The twenty-year work of President Jaroslav Klíma is also destroyed. Only the faithful remained in Vyšehrad. Fortunately, there are enough children there, so the future is secured,” said the representative, adding that sponsors also turned away from them.

At the same time, he denied that they would give Rogoz money to bribe referees. According to him, Rogoz received a regular salary and had clearly defined competences similar to a sports director. He said of Berbro that the media reputation surrounding him is unfair.
He denied that the former vice-chairman influenced the referee or led the organized criminal group referred to in the indictment. “I don’t think it’s realistic,” added Rösler.
He emphasized that they should no longer face court proceedings due to the said sanction by the Football Association. According to the indictment, Slavoj faces a penalty of 900,000 crowns.

Jan Rösler, the representative of Vyšehrad, testified before the Pilsen District Court on Monday
In the afternoon, Petr Tarkovský was given the floor, who wants to agree on guilt and punishment with the public prosecutor. According to the indictment, another accused, Michal Káník, who lived with his sister, sent 1.3 million crowns to his account.
Tarkovsky subsequently collected the amount and handed it back. For legalizing proceeds from criminal activity, he faces an eight-month suspended sentence and a fine of 75,000 crowns.
“I believed it was his money from his company, I didn’t find out anything else. I kept it to myself at the time. I never expected that everything would come to this, that I would stand trial,” Tarkovský emphasized, adding that he only wanted to help Káník.
