The Railways Authority reported on the incident on Twitter on Thursday, saying that when it was pointed out about the gambling he had done, he was allegedly arrogant. The reason for his dangerous journey is not clear. Whether, for example, he wanted to take someone directly to a specific train. The sidewalk leads nowhere and ends at the platform.
The service crossing, which connects all the platforms on the northern side, is used for train crews and train operators. It is not even dimensioned for the passage of cars.
Previously, it was often used by the public to shorten the journey from Žižkov. Because of this, the police officers sometimes patrolled the place, handing out fines or warnings to unruly people.
