“The terrorist regime is talking about its terrorist aspirations,” Peskov said Thursday, according to the TASS news agency. “The special military operation is more than justified, more than necessary and should be completed by achieving the stated objectives,” the spokesman added.
At the same time, Peskov assured that Putin’s security is reliably taken care of. “Trust me, our security services know their job and know what they’re doing,” he emphasized.
Peskov responded to the statement of the Deputy Commander of Ukrainian Military Intelligence (HUR) Vadym Skibicky. In an interview with the German newspaper Die Welt, he said that Putin is at the top of the list of people that the Ukrainian secret service is actively trying to kill. Skibickyj explained it by saying that it is Putin who coordinates everything and decides what happens. According to him, the head of the Kremlin is “well aware” of what is at stake.
