The Callato company, which has been developing the Byakuya ice cream for the past year and a half, can now boast a world record. Yes, putting a dizzying price on the product and then simply bragging about the record, probably anyone could do that. But the Japanese company is suffocating that a portion of ice cream (130 milliliters) costs ¥873,000 (138,000 crowns).
In addition to slices of edible gold or Italian white truffles, the ice cream also includes archival parmesan or lees, which are produced during the production of sake and carry a fruity taste. The product thus combines Asian and European gastronomy. The price also includes an original black box and a metal spoon, hand-made by Japanese craftsmen.
