What exactly is it about? ROIER is a platform that allows individual investors to invest in real estate or business projects secured by real estate or to loans to existing housing cooperatives.
Democratization of investing and regular monthly annuity
ROIER democratizes investing and opens the door to the general public quality investment opportunities. Thanks online platform virtually anyone can start investing and secure a passive income. ROIER relies on real estate collateral, which significantly increases the security of investments. Investments have an average duration of two years and their appreciation reaches over 10% pa Investors receive a regular monthly annuity paid to their bank account the very next month after investing.
David Bystrzycki, the founder of the ROIER platform, has a number of successful projects to his credit. He is a co-founder and long-term investor in many successful fintech startups, such as Zonky, Mutumutu or Advanto. Three years ago, he founded ROIER with his partner Honza Běhounk. „While working on innovation within the PPF, I found a great liking for fintech projects that combine finance and technology. I liked to build things from start to finish and see how they work, how they start to be used, how they start up. I was tempted to try it on my own T-shirt. The idea for ROIER came after a while and connected my two passions: innovation and investment.“

With the startup ROIER, David Bystrzycki wants to open the market for ordinary investors and give them the possibility to invest even with minimal initial capital. They would also like to bring younger people to invest. “The minimum investment for some portfolios is 1,000 crowns, mostly 5,000 crowns. On average, our investors invest approximately 140,000 crowns in one investment. It is because they expect an annuity. And in order for its amount to make sense, it is good to invest slightly larger amounts,” explains David Bystrzycki.
Although no investment is without risk, it must be emphasized that none of the projects financed by the ROIER startup ran into repayment problems during its operation.
Crowdfunding as an interesting way of investment
Crowdfunding could very easily be translated into Czech as a method of group or crowd investing. In practice, it works in such a way that a group of people in the role of investors contribute an amount at their discretion to a joint project, thereby helping to finance it.
The current possibilities provided by the ROIER platform, for example, bring alternative forms of investment that offer investors a greater return and entrepreneurs a wider access to financing. ROIER is a supplement to banking or other traditional forms of financing.
Why is the ROIER platform still worth considering for investors?
Every loan that you can participate in through this platform is secured by real estate. In contrast to the competition, in the case of the ROIER platform, these are already existing properties, for example housing cooperatives with real tenants. ROIER does not offer any investments in development projects, which often exist only on paper at the time of raising capital. This also significantly reduces the risk for investors.
Risk management in the ROIER platform
Risk management is a key element of safe investing. ROIER carries out thorough screening (so-called due diligence) of projects. Notarization of investments and collateral up to a maximum of 70 percent Loan-to-Value (LTV) are also used to protect investors.
The advantage of our ROIER investment platform is collateral, a maximum LTV of 70 percent and a regular annuity. We pay interest on a regular monthly basis. We have an additional cushion from the projects in the form of three interest payments as collateral. If there are problems, we will probably solve them before the investor even registers it.

Bottom line: Four main benefits of the ROIER platform
- Investing in loans that are always secured by real estate.
- Interesting interest that arises when participating in loans.
- As an investor, you receive your returns every month in the form of an annuity.
- The value of the investment is not correlated with the stock market, so it does not fall or rise with stock sentiment.
What does the term ROIER actually mean?
The core of the word comes from the English expression ROI, which means Return On Investment. As David Bystrzycki adds with a smile: “So the ROIER or ROI-er is the tool that creates the ROI. Just a payback machine.”
