The work will start on Monday 9 October and will continue until Tuesday 24 October. This follows from the information published on the municipality’s website opravujeme.to. The southern connector is part of the city ring road and is one of the busiest roads in the metropolis.
In the first stage, which will last from October 9 to 14, the ramp will be closed and it will be prohibited to turn from Ke Garážím street towards the bridge over the South Junction and also to the right in the direction of the center. The work will also make the exit from Jižní spojka to Ke Garážím street impossible. The detour route will lead along Spořilovská street, 5.května and Brněnská streets.
The second phase of repairs will begin on the 15th and last until October 19, when road workers will occupy part of Ke Garážím street, namely from the intersection at Garáže Kačerov in the direction of Jižní Spojka. In the direction from 5. května street to Jižní Spojka, towards Braník and further to Pilsen, drivers will have to go through 5. května, take the exit to Ryšavý and back to 5. května.
The final phase of the repairs includes the occupation of part of Ke Garážím Street, specifically in the area of the intersection near Garáže Kačerov towards the South Junction. From 5. května Street to the South Junction, the same detour route will apply as for the second stage.
