Rammstein will appear in Prague as part of the upcoming Europe Stadium Tour in 2024. On May 11, they will occupy Letňany Airport, where they also played last year.
The German band will celebrate 30 years of existence during the tour.
In that time, they have grown into one of the most popular rock bands in the world, but they do not avoid controversy. The latter relate to allegations of sexual abuse. A group of women have accused the band’s frontman of various wrongdoings, from physical violence to unwanted unprotected intercourse.
The Berlin prosecutor’s office investigated the allegations and then stopped the investigation in August of this year. “Evaluation of the available evidence… and the questioning of witnesses did not allow to determine that the accused had sexual relations with women without their consent,” the AFP agency quotes the decision of the Berlin prosecutor’s office.
“Current Rammstein concerts are truly a multi-sensory experience. In addition to the noisy and machine-rhythmic music, which is interwoven with strong arched melodies, their visitor is also impressed by the huge stage, whose towers reach a height of several meters,” wrote editor Štěpán Šanda about the band’s performance in Prague last year.
