Seznam Zpráv reporters Zuzana Hodková and Jindřich Šídlo really did not expect such an end to their trip to Albania.
Albania enchanted them, but seeing the Albania-Czech Republic 3-0 match with one’s own eyes hurt. “The worst experience since the World Cup of Hockey in 1991,” says Šídlo in the video report (play it at the top of the article).
The consequences can be felt even for the coach of the national team, Jaroslav Šilhavý. After Sunday’s match with the Faroe Islands, the management of the football association will meet and decide whether to replace Šilhavé with another coach.

Jindřich Šídlo, author of the satirical program Happy Monday, and SZ Byznys presenter Zuzana Hodková are once again following in the footsteps of the Czech national football team. The reason is clear: Euro 2024.
After following the Czech footballers in the League of Nations last year, this time they will accompany them in the qualification for the championship. Matches and especially behind the scenes will be brought to you by v a series of unconventionally conceived videos.
The qualification for Euro 2024 started in a fairytale way for the Czech Republic. In the first match in Eden, they beat Poland – moreover, in a style that suggested that progress to the championship would be a foregone conclusion.
But there were draws in Moldova, at home with Albania and now a heavy defeat in Tirana.
So far, the Albanians have played the entire qualification in style and deservedly lead the “Czech” group.
You can see what Jindřich Šídlo and Zuzana Hodková will remember from Albania in the video at the beginning of this article.
The video series Recordings and chargers is created in cooperation with Hyundai, the official partner of the Czech national football team.
