Drone footage taken over northern Gaza on Sunday showed areas of bombed-out residential buildings still smoldering – while others were reduced to mere charred torsos after previous airstrikes.
The Israeli army called on civilians to leave the northern part of Gaza and move to the south. The Reuters agency, citing the army, said it did so to 600,000 Palestinians.
In addition to the bombing, Israel imposed a total blockade of the Gaza Strip, stopping the supply of energy and fuel, water, food and medicine. He resumed water supplies on Sunday, but still did not allow the opening of the humanitarian corridor, ČTK summarizes.
Gunmen from the Palestinian Hamas movement killed over 1,300 mostly civilian victims, including women and children, in the October 7 attack. In this action, they took 199 people hostage to the Gaza Strip. The server of The Times of Israel wrote that the Israeli army has informed the families of all 199 abductees.
The bombing of Gaza since then has killed 2,750 Palestinians, including more than seven hundred children, according to Palestinian sources.
