Germany also announced this week that it is extending the same regime for the Czech Republic, Poland and Switzerland by another 20 days.
In addition to the borders with the Czech Republic, the Austrian police also controls the borders with Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia. In the case of other countries, it carries out “intensive checks in the border area”, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
