The Christmas tree will also be lit, which the children will decorate with their own handmade ornaments during the afternoon. Prague 2 City Hall also organizes Advent concerts, namely on December 2 in the church of St. Ignatius of Loyola, on December 7 in the church of St. Catherine of Alexandria and on December 14 in the church of St. John of Nepomuk on Skalka.
On Sunday, December 3, the Prague 3 town hall will also light up the trees, one on Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrady and the other on Ohrad. The Prague Zoo will also light up its tree on Veselovského meadow on Sunday, December 3. Visitors can look forward to a parade, nativity scene or Christmas carols performed by a children’s choir.
