On Wednesday morning, a train hit a person near a railway crossing in Letovice in Blanenska. The man died, police spokesman Bohumil Malášek told ČTK.
The accident happened at 6:15. The police are investigating the circumstances of the collision. The train heading from Břeclav to Prague is diverted via Havlíčkův Brod and does not stop in Česká Třebová and Pardubice. The train heading from Prague to Břeclav takes a diversion via Přerov.
Restrictions in rail traffic will last until 9:30 a.m. according to the assumption of Czech Railways.
